Registration for the following additional programme elements of CLARIN 2020 is now open.
- CLARIN Student Session
The session is reserved for PhD students.
The purpose of the session is to allow students to share their research work (which must be connected to the CLARIN infrastructure) with CLARIN experts and to receive feedback.
Students are invited to submit a 500-word abstract with the description of their doctoral project which will be used as a basis for its assessment and possible acceptance.
The abstracts submitted must clearly discuss how doctoral work makes use of the CLARIN infrastructure or how the results will contribute to CLARIN.
Accepted abstracts will be published on the Conference Web site.
After the Conference, the authors of an accepted abstract can submit a full paper to be included in the Post-Conference Proceedings.
Registration [Track “CLARIN2020 (PhD session)”] | Deadline: 31/08/2020 - CLARIN in the Classroom
The session is a new initiative open to university teachers who have used CLARIN resources, tools or services in their courses.
Participants in this session are invited to present their experience and to suggest solutions that can facilitate and accelerate the further integration of CLARIN in university curricula.
Before the Conference, teachers are invited to submit a 500-word abstract (which will be published on the Conference Web site) which summarizes their teaching experiences through the use of a CLARIN resource, tool or service.
In principle, all abstracts that describe a clear use case of CLARIN in academic classrooms will be accepted.
During the Conference, teachers will be able to present their work.
After the Conference, the authors will be able to present a full paper which will be evaluated for its possible inclusion in the post-Conference Proceedings.

It provides the appropriate environment for conversations with CLARIN experts and a space in which to showcase one’s work and virtually share ongoing research.
Registration | Deadline: 21/09/2020 - CLARIN Consultation Session
The session, open to all the Conference participants, is an opportunity for young people starting their career as researchers to discuss their research work with CLARIN experts.
