CLARIN-IT is the Italian node of CLARIN<\/a> (Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure), whose grand vision it shares.<\/p>\n

The Institute for Computational Linguistics “Antonio Zampolli” of the Italian National Research Council (ILC-CNR) was already an active participant in the CLARIN preparatory phase project<\/a> (2008-2011) through the LaRI Group.<\/p>\n

On 1st<\/sup> October 2015 Italy became the 16th<\/sup> Full Member of CLARIN ERIC<\/a> (European Research Infrastructure Consortium), the CLARIN governance and coordination body at the European level.<\/p>\n
