{"id":25,"date":"2016-06-16T16:02:25","date_gmt":"2016-06-16T14:02:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lari.ilc.cnr.it\/en\/?page_id=25"},"modified":"2018-12-11T19:33:46","modified_gmt":"2018-12-11T18:33:46","slug":"infrastructures","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/lari.ilc.cnr.it\/en\/infrastructures\/","title":{"rendered":"Infrastructures"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"primary\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<section id=\"content\" class=\"element-invisible\">The LaRI Research Group participates in the Italian nodes of two research infrastructures of pan-European interest identified by ESFRI (European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures) and classified as ESFRI Landmarks SSH RI in the ESFRI Roadmap 2016: CLARIN and DARIAH.<\/p>\n<div id=\"content-wrap\">\n<div class=\"region region-content\">\n<div id=\"block-system-main\" class=\"block block-system\">\n<div class=\"content\">\n<div class=\"content\">\n<div class=\"field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><a class=\"links ext\" title=\"CLARIN-IT\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarin-it.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLARIN-IT<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nCLARIN-IT is the Italian node of <a class=\"links ext\" title=\"CLARIN\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarin.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLARIN<\/a> (Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure), whose grand vision it shares.<br \/>\nILC was already an active participant in the <a class=\"links ext\" title=\"CLARIN Preparatory Phase Project\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarin.eu\/content\/about-clarin-preparatory-phase\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLARIN preparatory phase project<\/a> (2008-2011).<br \/>\nOn 1<sup>st<\/sup> October 2015 Italy became the 16<sup>th<\/sup> Full Member of CLARIN <a class=\"links ext\" title=\"ERIC\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarin.eu\/content\/about-eric\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ERIC<\/a> (European Research Infrastructure Consortium), the CLARIN governance and coordination body at the European level.<br \/>\nThe CLARIN Italian Consortium, represented by ILC and coordinated by Monica Monachini, is being formed and is expected to include the major universities and research institutes of the country, such as departments and institutions of language and literary studies, Philology and Computer Science, as well as groups mostly involved in the field of Digital Humanities and in the sectors of documentation, digitalization and language technologies for the Humanities.<br \/>\nILC realized <a class=\"ext\" title=\"CLARIN-IT\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarin-it.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CLARIN-IT<\/a>, a Web portal devoted to the CLARIN Italian Consortium, which has been on line since 21<sup>st<\/sup> October 2015, established <a title=\"ILC4CLARIN\" href=\"http:\/\/ilc4clarin.ilc.cnr.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ILC4CLARIN<\/a>, a CLARIN Metadata Providing Centre (of <a class=\"ext\" title=\"Type C\" href=\"https:\/\/www.clarin.eu\/content\/clarin-centres\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Type C<\/a>), that is the 1<sup>st<\/sup> CLARIN-IT National Centre, and realized a Web site devoted to it, which has been on line since 8<sup>th<\/sup> February 2017.<br \/>\n<a title=\"Core Trust Seal\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coretrustseal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/The-ILC4CLARIN-Centre-at-the-Institute-for-Computational-Linguistics-.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-465\" style=\"border: 0; float: left;\" src=\"http:\/\/lari.ilc.cnr.it\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/04\/CoreTrustSeal_Logo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"50\" height=\"50\" \/><\/a>On 18<sup>th<\/sup> April 2018 the Trusted Digital Repository <a title=\"'The ILC4CLARIN Centre at the Institute for Computational Linguistics'\" href=\"https:\/\/dspace-clarin-it.ilc.cnr.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8216;The ILC4CLARIN Centre at the Institute for Computational Linguistics&#8217;<\/a> acquired the 2016 Core Trust Seal.<br \/>\n<a title=\"Certificate of Recognition\" href=\"http:\/\/hdl.handle.net\/11372\/DOC-144\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-687\" style=\"border: 0; float: left;\" src=\"http:\/\/lari.ilc.cnr.it\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/12\/Clarin_B_Centre_RGB_72dpi_transp.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"167\" height=\"50\" \/><\/a>On 3<sup>rd<\/sup> May 2018 ILC4CLARIN was officially recognized as a CLARIN Service Providing Centre (of <a class=\"ext\" title=\"Type B\" href=\"https:\/\/www.clarin.eu\/content\/clarin-centres\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Type B<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><a class=\"links ext\" title=\"DARIAH-IT\" href=\"http:\/\/it.dariah.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DARIAH-IT<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nDARIAH-IT is the Italian node of\u00a0<a class=\"links ext\" title=\"DARIAH-EU\" href=\"http:\/\/dariah.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DARIAH-EU<\/a> (Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities), whose core mission it shares.<br \/>\nDARIAH-IT seeks to provide advanced services based on the use of Information and Communication Technology to researchers in the field of Arts and Humanities, combining technological development with education and training, promoting collaboration and joint research, communication and dissemination, sharing of experiences and tools in the fields of Digital Humanities and Digital Cultural Heritage.<br \/>\nDARIAH-IT also aims to develop tools to connect and reuse the wealth of scientific material available, while ensuring interoperability, preservation and data security across different academic contexts and communities.<br \/>\nThe digital revolution showed the huge potential of technology in transforming the research in the field of Arts and Humanities.<br \/>\nDARIAH-IT provides state-of-the-art digital research tools and promotes their use from a wide and multidisciplinary community of researchers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The LaRI Research Group participates in the Italian nodes of two research infrastructures of pan-European interest identified by ESFRI (European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures) and classified as ESFRI Landmarks SSH RI in the ESFRI Roadmap 2016: CLARIN and DARIAH.
